    We introduce a hypergoemetirc series with two complex variables, which generalizes Appell's, Lauricella's and Kempé de Fériet's hypergeometric series, and study the system of differential equations that it satisfies. We determine the singularities, the rank and the condition for the reducibility of the system. We give complete local solutions of the system at many singular points of the system and solve the connection problem among these local solutions. Under some assumptions, the system is written as a KZ equation. We determine its spectral type in the direction of coordinates as well as simultaneous eigenspace decompositions of residue matrices. The system may or may not be rigid in the sense of N.~Katz viewed as an ordinary differential equation in some direction. We also show that the system is a special case of Gel'fand-Kapranov-Zelevinsky system. From this point of view, we discuss multivariate generalizations.

    <jats:title>A<jats:sc>bstract</jats:sc> </jats:title><jats:p>This work studies limits of Pfaffian systems, a class of first-order PDEs appearing in the Feynman integral calculus. Such limits appear naturally in the context of scattering amplitudes when there is a separation of scale in a given set of kinematic variables. We model these limits, which are often singular, via <jats:italic>restrictions</jats:italic> of <jats:inline-formula><jats:alternatives><jats:tex-math>$$ \mathcal{D} $$</jats:tex-math><mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <mml:mi>D</mml:mi> </mml:math></jats:alternatives></jats:inline-formula>-modules. We thereby develop two different restriction algorithms: one based on gauge transformations, and another relying on the Macaulay matrix. These algorithms output Pfaffian systems containing fewer variables and of smaller rank. We show that it is also possible to retain logarithmic corrections in the limiting variable. The algorithms are showcased in many examples involving Feynman integrals and hypergeometric functions coming from GKZ systems. This work serves as a continuation of [1].</jats:p>

In particle physics, they arise as Feynman integrals or string amplitudes. Our four selected topics demonstrate the diverse mathematical techniques involved in the study of Euler integrals, including polyhedral geometry, very affine varieties, differential equations, and computational algebra.</jats:p>

    Abstract We elaborate on the connection between Gel’fand-Kapranov-Zelevinsky systems, de Rham theory for twisted cohomology groups, and Pfaffian equations for Feynman Integrals. We propose a novel, more efficient algorithm to compute Macaulay matrices, which are used to derive Pfaffian systems of differential equations. The Pfaffian matrices are then employed to obtain linear relations for $$ \mathcal{A} $$-hypergeometric (Euler) integrals and Feynman integrals, through recurrence relations and through projections by intersection numbers.

    1.Euler-Laplace積分表示と交点理論:Euler型積分表示とLaplace型積分表示の補間に当たる積分表示として以前申請者が導入したEuler-Laplace型積分表示がある。この積分表示はとあるD加群の順像(Laplace-Gauss-Manin系)として記述されることが昨年度までにわかっていた。本年度はLaplace-Gauss-Manin系の生成元を記述し、この応用としてLaplace-Gauss-Manin系に付随する急減少ホモロジー群とGKZ系の解空間の同型対応を確立した。その際のコンパクト化にはA.Esterov, A.G.Khovanski,松井優、竹内潔らのtoric compact化をより一般化した構成を用いる。また、昨年度に構成したEuler型積分表示に付随した積分サイクルの基底は交点理論的に良い性質を持つことが確認された。積分サイクルの基底は正則三角形分割Tによって構成されるが、特にTが単模の場合には交点行列が完全に決定される。これをねじれ周期関係式に適用し、Aomoto-Gelfand超幾何函数の二次関係式の閉じた公式を得た。上述の成果はarXiv:1904.00565にまとめられている。 2.Cohomology交点数を計算するアルゴリズム:神戸大学の高山信毅氏との共同研究により、1の研究に基づきcohomology交点数を計算するアルゴリズムを考案した。このアルゴリズムは、cohomology交点数をあるPfaff系の有理函数解として定数倍を除いて特徴付け、1の結果を応用して定数倍を決定するという手順を踏む。このアルゴリズムの応用として、志賀弘典氏、成宮氏らにより議論されたK3曲面の族の周期積分に付随した超幾何函数の二次関係式を得た。この成果はarXiv:1904.01253にまとめられている。
