Targeting developing countries, middle-income countries in particular with disaster risk reduction needs, He is working to develop approaches and provide decision-making support to effectively promote sustainable urban development and proactive disaster risk reduction investments, that not only reduces disaster risk caused by past economic-first development but also minimizes future disaster risk.
