The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of a nurse-led music activity with a disabled child. The subject, whose care and education were neglected during long periods of hospitalization in pediatrics, needed psychosocial support and assistance with self-expression. Therefore, we offered music activity as a form of rehabilitation. Measures included the Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory (PEDI), and the Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL). The results indicate that seven sessions of music activity can meet the needs of hospitalized children in attaining social skills, normal growth, and developmental milestones. We believe that further research into the long-term effects of music interventions with disabled children may reveal substantial benefits for social skills and physical functioning. Meeting the needs of a child in rehabilitation requires an interdisciplinary approach, whereby a variety of health care nurses are called upon to work together in planning and coordinating each patient's treatment plan.

アロマセラピー(以下AT)の活用方法に関する講習会に参加した看護師83名に質問紙調査を行い、「ATをどのような形で実施したいか」「アロマセラピストの資格を取りたいか」などについて尋ねた。「どのような形で実施したいか」の質問項目のうち、<アロマセラピストに実施してほしいと思うか?>という問い対して「かなりそう思う」と答えた人が40%、「そう思う」と答えた人が57%、<自分で実施したいと思うか?>という問いに対して「かなりそう思う」と答えた人が43%、「その思う」が47%であった。アロマセラピストの資格を「取りたい」と答えた人は64%であった。ATの活用に関する考えを自由記述してもらい、その内容を質的帰納的に分析した結果、以下の4カテゴリーが抽出された。1)活用したい具体的状況・方法。2)ATを取り入れてみたい理由。3)導入・実施への不安と期待。4)さらに必要な知識。

唾液アミラーゼ活性を交感神経活動の指標として、高周波帯域(4000kHz以上)を多く含む音楽を聴取することにより、交感神経活動が抑制されるかどうか調べた。対象は心疾患、自律神経系疾患の既往および聴覚に異常がない成人11名(男性1名、女性10名、平均21.27±0.9歳)で、申込順に2群に分けた。その結果、高周波を多く含む周波数特性をもった音楽は、曲によっては交感神経活動を亢進させる場合があった。モーツアルトの楽曲の高周波を増幅させたものを聴取した場合は、交感神経活動が有意に抑制された。

看護学生にストーマ造設に関する疑似体験を行い、ストーマ保有者の理解やストーマリハビリテーションの学びに関する学習効果と課題を検討した。リハビリテーション看護論を履修した看護学生83名のレポートを質的帰納的に分析した。ストーマ装具の装着による生活活動やヒトとの交流への影響については、296記述単位から49コード、12サブカテゴリー、「日常生活への支障」など6カテゴリーが抽出された。ストーマを造設し生涯生きていくことになった場合の『心理』については138記述単位から22コード、9サブカテゴリー、「生涯ストーマと生きる負担感」など6カテゴリー、同『対処』については42記述単位から10コード、8サブカテゴリー、「慣れて前向きに取り組む」など3カテゴリー、同『必要な看護支援』については96記述単位から25コード、15サブカテゴリー、「ストーマケア方法の教育」など5カテゴリーが抽出された。ストーマリハビリテーション看護において大切に思う支援として、149記述単位から18コード、5サブカテゴリー、「患者の生活を尊重した支援」「患者と家族の力で対処し慣れるための支援」の2カテゴリーが抽出された。

To understand the basic mechanism of music-supported rehabilitation, we investigated the correlation between the amplitude of movement-related cortical potential (MRCP) and subjective impression of music during the voluntary button-press movements with music-listening. We found that the amplitudes of MRCP during Music task were significantly larger than those during Non-music task. In addition, the impression difference of the music / non-music task was found to be significantly different in 9 items, and a significant correlation was found between MRCP difference and impression difference in 2 items (clear, quiet). When music is to be used in rehabilitation, it is suggested that the clear and quiet music is suitable for enhancing the motor intention and muscle power.

We hypothesize that the more is the communication among medical staffs, the better is the patient outcome in rehabilitation medical practice, and investigated relationship between the amount of communication measured by a wearable ICT device and patient outcome measured by functional independence measure (FIM). In 2015 FY, we examined feasibility and reliability of the communication measuring system. In 2016 FY, we succeeded in measuring the communication during consecutive 2-week period among 36 medical staffs in convalescence rehabilitation ward (90 beds), and examined relationship between the amount of communication and activities of daily living (FIM scores) of the patients.

In this research subject, the goal is to consider the music to enhance the effect of rehabilitation. The stroke patients, in order to continue long-term physical exercise rehabilitation, clarify the effect of combining music therapy. Gait pattern of healthy subjects, in anticipation of rhythmic patterns and prepares the movement, it is known that it is easy to tune the rhythm and melody. Therefore, the music of what rhythm pattern, was investigated whether there is an effect on the walking locomotion of walking when used in combination with music in rehabilitation.

I investigated that I could improve environment of hospital using music. I derived two results. Favorite music and the sound of the high frequency band music may palliate subject pain. Furthermore, the music of those types may inhibit sympathetic nervous activity. Future works are the following contents. We investigate an effect about the selective attention behavior to induce by hearing music and examine a method to clear the noise in the hospital by an active control effect.
