    This study aims to examine people’s perception of well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic in Japan and quantitatively clarify key factors towards realizing evidence-based policymaking. In March 2022, 400 participants responded to a survey conducted through Rakuten Insight. The authors applied an ordinal logistic regression (OLR), followed by principal component analysis (PCA), to create a new compound indicator (CI) to represent people’s perception of well-being during the pandemic in addition to ordinary least squares (OLS) regression with a forward-backward stepwise selection method, where the dependent variable is the principal component score of the first principal component (PC1), while the independent variables are the same as the abovementioned OLR. Consequently, while analyzing OLR, some independent variables showed statistical significance, while the CI provided an option to grasp people’s perception of well-being. Furthermore, family structure was statistically significant in all cases of OLR and OLS. Moreover, in terms of the standardized coefficients (beta) of OLS, the family structure had the greatest impact on the CI. Based on the study results, the authors advocate that the Japanese government should pay more attention to single-person households affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

    In this study, we focused on the exposure of fluid space in recent years and proposed a notation method for such space. By using of cognitive science, we extracted Occluding and Shading Edge from human spatial experience. By using both two edges, we created new notation method, Scene Books for both Occluding and Shading Edge.<br> The findings in this study are as follows.<br> 1)The structure of Occluding Edge is found through the change rate in scale and direction.<br> 2)The structure of Shading Edge is found though the change rate in scale and complexity.<br> 3)Through ecological notation method, a classification between fluid space and non fluid space is clarified.<br> 4)Through both Occluding and Shading Edge structures, a classification of fluid space such as tube space, curved space and others is clarified.<br> 5)Through ecological notation method, a new form of space, yet to be illustrated is presented.

    This study focuses on the PFI supporting organizations in United Kingdom and their supporting activities toward the public clients, which include central government departments and local authorities in UK. By comparing their support in public procurement aspect and architectural design aspect with that of Japan, there is a clear structure in UK PFI support system, the Regulation Control System, which is to do with the central government reviewing projects in relation to their policy and programmes, and the Planning Support System, which is to do with supporting local authorities' actual PFI projects.<br>By scrutinizing the two PFI public library projects in UK and in Japan, there is also a difference in procurement structure in a relationship between the architect, the client and the contractor in designing process.

    The purpose of this study is to examine the actual condition of group home for children in residential care, and to clarify issues of the living environment. The main findings are as follows:<br>1) There are 194 group homes throughout Japan.<br>2) The types of the living environment are characterized by its property, the size of the housing and the member of the group homes. Not all the group homes afford enough space for the children and the staff.<br>3) The difference in living environment comes also from finances and welfare policy in each local autonomy.

    To acquire the knowledge for affectionate environment for ALS patients at welfare-homes, this study focus on environmental factors and care giving. We conducted some field surveys and questionnaire at welfare-homes to clarify the conditions of the care and the living environment for ALS patients.<br>1) Most of the patients in welfare-homes have been suffering from ALS more than five years, and they usually use the artificial respirators. Mainly, the difficulties in caring ALS patients for their family cause them to move to the welfare-home, so it is important to arrange social care systems not only for the patients but also for their family in order to support them. 2) It is difficult for the ALS patients to have enough and appropriate care because there are always two types of care givers; the nurses from the medical field and the care workers from the social welfare field, and they offer different types of care and ideas for caregiving. 3) The ALS patients have enough space in their private room, they spend most of the time watching TV or using machines to aid their communication.

    The Ministry of Education introduced the integrated course to Japanese high school in 1993; however, on the actual fields of education, the understanding of the course has been still ambiguous. This study focuses on the daily activities of the students taking an integrated course in deferent schools; from well-planned buildings for the course to existing ordinary buildings. Following factors were identified; (1) In the school with juxtaposional function, students betray the program with occupiing spaces in different way. (2) Students use spaces with their space literacy. (3) Redundancy or flexibility of space might influence students lives through belonging groups or sense of places.

    Even though there are new approaches to create space has been discussing among outstanding architects recently, the basic method to grasp the relationship between human behavior and space remains an exisiting style. This paper investigates three featured spaces to draw the activity vector field from movement of people to explore the concept of the function of space or spacial charateristic. The findings are followings; The activities caused a program influenced surrounding space in new universal space but in ordinary space did not. We develop a new method to draw the activity vector field based on probability of each movement. With the method we succeed to grasp a couple of act, which might express the redundancy of space.

    This study focuses on the problems of peculiar condition of Private Finance Initiative (PFI) that is intended to suit particularly to the legal and social circumstances in Japan. Based on the analysis of discussion that taken place in the process of PFI introduction in Japan, following four factors were identified as the root of the problem. (1) The inconsistency between the PFI and existing legal system, (2) The difficulty in the practice of project finance, (3) The capability of clients in the procumerment procedure, (4) The difficulty in the selection of bidders. Considering the four factors, the paper sets up several selective conditions that trigger the problems. Finally, the paper explains the assumable PFI project frame works in Japan as a combination of those conditions.

    This study is to consider the state of housing as a place for long term convalescent care through investigating the case of ALS patients. Following facts were obtained through the consideration of the lifestyle of 13 ALS patients and their families. 1) The principal of the home convalescence is the 10 hour nursing by the family members. The suetion of phlegm, required every 15 minutes throughout the day for using artificial respirator, adds the burden for the family members. 2) The state of living of ALS patients who reside in their own houses varies depending on the condition. The adoption of artificial respirator triggers the change in the state of living. To prepare for the home convalescence the patients, who decided to use artificial respirator, and their family members changes their lifestyle. 3) The state of living for ALS patients is strongly influenced by their ability to express their intention. In the case where no communications are possible, bedroom of the patient tends to be contained in family room since family member must determine when to absorb the phlegm.

    Recently, the small-scale local governments are enlarging and enriching the service of health, medical and welfare facilities for the elderly. Intensive arrangement of the three types of facilities is one of the effective ways especially for the small-scale governments. This study aims to explore, using GIS(Geographic Information System), the conditions of the facility arrangements and the distance between the facilities in the 2,511 self-governing body with less than 30,000 population. The result is put together as follows. 1) The statistics of the arrangement patterns shows there are 24%:three kinds facilities, 37%:two kinds facilities, 29%:one kind facilities, and 11%:no facilities. 2) 20%(125) are built in one place whin three kinds facilities, and this is characteristics of small population local governments in the large area.

    The number of emotionally disturbed children in Japan has been increasing recently; However, only few attempts with an aim at improving children's living space have been made at treatment centers. We conducted some field surveys on the cottage-type residential center to examine the relationship among space, communication, and the effectiveness of therapy. In addition, to clarify conditions of treatment for children with emotional disturbances, the children's daily life with milieu therapy was observed. The main results are as follows. 1. In the milieu therapy, it consisted of two dimensions, "counseling" and "daily life", and they were strongly associated. 2. On their daily life, members were working together to establish appropriate relationships. Then, based on their relationships, the staff conducted counseling using spacious elements in the better settings. 3. It can be said that the characteristics such as floor space, the number of children, and the organization of the space, contributed to a better condition for the milieu therapy.

    This paper is the second version of the interpretation of the collective theoretical writings by the architectural critic Jeffrey Kipnis. His writing in the 90's is the reorganization of the so-called Deconstructivist Architecture. This paper interpreted his attempt as an expansion and redefinition of the notion of "form", and recomposes Kipnis' writing as an production of an open formula "[ ]/form". Kipnis rotates the vertical dialectic of meaning/form to the horizontal structure of event/material-form/context. Kipnis presented DeFormation and InFormation as an new trend to expand the notion of "form" towards "context" and "event". In this paper, we succeeded in interpreting Kipnis's DeFormation/InFormation as an attempt to expand the notion of "form" towards a opposite direction of time and different concept of body. The former is the expansion of "form" towards a time before completion through the body of the producer, while the latter is the expansion of form towards time after completion through the body of the user. By expanding the notion of "form", we also succeeded in presenting the event-space as a dynamic background to redefine "form".

    The aim of this paper is to invent a new visual tool to rethink the function of architecture. The research was conducted in Sendai mediatheque to grasp the dynamism of the interrelated activities. The notion of "the activity vector field" enabled us to visualize the relationship between the dynamic aggregation of activities and the space. The findings are as follows. The partial event can affect the overall activities on the floor. Attractors in "the activity vector field" are not connected to the specific activities, but takes different character according to their relative position in the space.

    The purpose of this research is to acquire new knowledge about environment for convalescence for the inpatients of ALS at the hospital The survey is mainly examined at two viewpoints. One is councilor survey about the living conditions of the inpatients ol ALS. Two is measure survey about the physical condition of the treatment environment for them. The results are the followings. 1) The bodies of inpatients of ALS are connected with medical machineries. So it is necessary to reconfigure living conditions of the inpatients considering inpatienf s body as a unit of self-help tool, aspirator and respiratory organ. The spacing between the beds needs to be expanded to allow enough space in the multi-patient room. 2) The care person is important for inpatients of ALS. So the nap and break space for the care person is necessary in case for long-term of hospitalization.

    This study re-composes the collective architectural criticisms of Jeffrey Kipnis, who sees deconstruction neither as a new formal vocabulary nor "the re-value of all things" but force that re-formulate the relationship between the discourse and design in architecture. The issue of "undecidability" is proliferated from re-composing the very first critical essay of Kipnis. From this issue of "undecidability", this study, by using metaphors appear in the essays of Kipnis such as "chora" and "the separatrix", explores further towards the possibility of articulating "boundary as a decision making frame" which is the condition of recognizing object. At last, one last metaphor, "the fetish," as a mechanism of boundary articulation is unfolded. Throughout the dis-couse of this study, two main issues are proliferated. First, the relationship between the discourse and design in architecture is re-formulated. Second, the relationship between architecture and the notion of boundary is suspended.

    The purpose of this paper is to clarify the motivation and the fundamental condition "theater going". The method of this study is takings interviews with their on motivations, the experiences in their lives and the activity on the day of going theater. Time geography is adopted for the analysis. The findings are as follows 1) Causes of theater going are greatly influenced by regional living environment and characteristics of audiences. Results are dependent on the characteristics of audiences. 2) Theater going is motivated by changing of living environment. that is sometimes decreeing theater going, especially in women when they marry or have children. 3) It is found that time geography is effective to understand the correlation between living environment and the site of facilities for performing arts.

    The objectives of this study are to find the characteristics of user's areas of a public performing arts center and predict the future trend in the suburbs of a large city .The questioning was conducted on below three points; the properties of people coming to the performing arts enter the time that takes to come there, tendency to use halls in the vicinity of the city. Based on the questionnaire we find the relation between the user's profile and the actual conditions of there use. As a result, 1) that are over 55 years old. and 70% of whole subjects drive to the hall. 2) It take 30 to 40 minutes to come to the hall for 60% of whole subjects. 3) In the two most frequent users, housewives are likely to come to the halls in the center of a large city, contrary office worker have the various tendency on picking halls to go.

About 5 companies except for SHINBASHI ENBUJO and MEIJIZA, it has verified the time series change of proceeds and expenses, using the JDB corporation finance data bank. As a result of the analysis, the managing actual condition of commercial theaters in my country has been roughly grasped.

    The aim of this study is to make the actual condition of independent productions for appreciation clear through the third questionnaire survey conducted with 1995 as the target year. In this research, we have introduced two specific values about the attendance and the price of each production, and analyzed the relations between the population of municipalities and the number of seats and so on.     This paper aims to put consideration of the house environment preparation for the severely mentally and physically handicapped children in shape. For this objective, fourteen children chosen from three different environments were surveyed by means of collecting communication-samples, interviewing with guardians and observations. Findings are as follows. 1) They are very aggressive to realize their interest-wants, and their realization behavior can be grouped into five patterns. 2) In their acquisition process of communication skills, each skill was affected by human element or material element or survices. 3) In present environment, it is important to get rid of preventions on each realization behavior pattern.

    Though the number of children is decreasing in Japan, the rolls of the children's welfare institutions are becoming comprehensive and interactive more. To solve those problems, the institution have to adopt some devices in their planning process.     The Moniwadai Horei Home was planned in Sendai city as part of a comprehensive welfare project. As a combined facility, the Horei Home cares for patients suffering from senile dementia as well as general elderly patients. The facility adopts a circular style around a courtyard to offer a space where patients can stroll. Recently we planned to establish a special facility as an annex to Moniwadai Home.     This paper aims to grasp the architectuaI knowledge to make a support policy to drama companies in Japan. We selected three research areas (Kansai, Sendai and Kitakyuusyu). The reharsal spaces where they occupy are distinguished three types. To classify the companies, we use two factors, times of performance a year and the collabolation types in creation of performance. The results show that. 1) The rate of the companies what occupy any reharsal spaces, is about 50% in Kansai and Sendai but the rate of those is under 10% in Kitakyuusyu. 2) The companies' needs in creation of performance are various each class and the situation of those cIasses are different each area.

    To clarify the cultural situation of "Culture Halls" , we adopt the classification with the condition of the perfoming categories at halls ,that of the municipalities and the regions' classification. 1. The rate of "multipurpose-use type", 21.7%, is highest that of other types, with the condition of the performaing categories at halls. 2. The percentage of persons engaged in the theater/concert hall going in the regions interrelate with that of the halls' classification with performaing arts' condition there. 3. The condition of performance at halls weren't only depend on the population and the centrality of the municipalities but also the character of the area, such as the regions' classification.

    This paper is aimed to get architectual planning knowledges about stages and backstages of Concert halls. The results of this study are summarized as follow; 1.The rate of the backstage area of public concert halls are about 30%. The backstage area of private halls tend to be stinted in order to increase the number of their seets. 2.The planning pattern of their stages and backstages are classified 6 types. 3.Players needs relax-able dressing rooms, wide coulisses and a buffet at an orchestra foyer. 4.An orchestra foyer which connected coulisses is useful for players to stand by, take a rest and others.

    The aim of this paper is (to clarify the definition and the actual situation of "Culture Halls". Especially this paper gives weight to the relation between thier condition in utilization and the classification of the municipalities where they are. We classified the municipalities with the population and the centrality of them. The results of this study are summarized as follow : 1. The total number of facilities that have "Culture Halls" is 1545 on March 1988 in Japan. 2. Those halls were used for 176.8 days, a year on a avarage in the fiscal year 1987. 3. The number of used days were depend on the population and the centrality of the municipalities.

    The aim of my study is about American Child care facilities, studying on classroom management by the caregivers. Recently in Japan, Child care facilities along with the quantity provision, the quality of the care and its evaluation are necessary. Still most of the caregivers have to decide the management by themselves and have few clear guidelines. Whereas from my observation, in the states, the caregivers are aware of the idea regarding 'Classroom Management' and know how to use the environmental resource to handle their classroom. Conclusions-Through this study I can say that in the states, the caregivers who have high literacy about classroom management apply space and interior factors to their care.

    The lesson of the reconstruction from Great East Japan Earthquake is that a bottleneck process of reconstruction would often happen at the implementation of the plan. On this study, we compared three different disaster affected areas; New Orleans, Sichuan, Jogjakarta. We uncovered the relationship between stake holders and the problem against the implementation. In New Orleans, the government tried promote reconstruction with real estate market, so around low market potential area, they could not but collaborate multi-stakeholders. In Sichuan, the government applied the counter assistant system, however, they faced a difficulty for encourage these independencies of affected areas. In Jogjakarta, the government vitalized the potential of the community with distributing the fund. To cancel the bottleneck, they cultivated the existing social resource.

    This study focuses on the PFI supporting organisations in United Kingdom and their supporting activities toward the public clients, which include central government departments and local authorities in UK. By comparing their support system in public procurement aspect and architectural design aspect with that of Japan, there is a clear structure in UK PFI support system, the Regulation Control System, which is to do with the central government reviewing projects in relation to their policy and programmes, and the Planning Support System, which is to do with supporting local authorities' actual PFI projects. By scrutinizing the two PFI public library projects in UK and in Japan, there is also a difference in procurement structure in a relationship between the architect, the client and the contractor in designing process.

    1.人の動きの分布のデータ分析2008年度に実施したビオトープ内における人の動きの分布調査のデータ並びに同時に行った物理環境測定、温熱快適性に関するアンケート調査結果のデータを引き続き分析した。ここではアンケート調査結果と物理環境要素の比較だけでなく、人の活動に深く関わりのある人体熱収支(対流、放射、蓄熱、発汗、代謝量、仕事量、人体の蓄熱量)に着目し、人の温冷感に影響を与えるのは顕熱成分(人体からの対流による放散量と放射成分による流入量の合計値)の大きさだけでなく、対流、放射のバランスが重要であることが明らかとなった。 2.人のactivityを考慮した都市空間のシミュレーションの開発また上記で示した分析を行うと同時に風洞実験により、歩行者群の総体としての空力特性や流れ場への影響に関する基礎データを取得し、歩行者群の流体力学的影響を記述する新たなCFDモデルを開発し、風洞実験との結果に基づきモデルを最適化した。 3.新たな都市環境デザインの提案1.の結果を踏まえて、CFD技術を応用して人体熱収支の各成分を算出し、緑地や水面の配置による物理環境要素の変化が、人体熱収支の変化を通じて屋外空間の温熱快適性に及ぼす影響を系統的かつ定量的に分析する方法を開発した。さらにこれを用いて、人の活動によって変化する人体の熱収支の構成要素と屋外における土地被覆等の諸条件の変化によりもたらされる物理環境の変化が人間の温熱快適性に与える影響の寄与度を考慮した環境デザインのための手法を考案した。 4.まとめ以上の様に、人の動きだけでなくそれに大きく関係する人間の温熱快適性に着目し、実測、アンケート調査を行い、人のactivityに関係する要因を抽出することができた。またその結果から新たな環境デザイン提案までに至り、萌芽研究としての当初の目標を達成することができたと考えている。

    本研究は、児童養護施設を対象に児童の目常生活の安定に空間が果たす役割の探求と脱施設化を担うグループホーム(以下、GHと略す。)の地域展開の実態から、要養護児童にとってあるべき環境を考察することを目的としたものであった。 本年度は、まず、大舎制と小舎制施設を対象に児童と職員の生活実態を記述し、それらに基づいて生活の質的側面における各施設の特性を明らかにした。なかでも職員と児童のコミュニケーションに着目することで、職員の滞在場所が安定して児童への関わりが行いやすい小舎にて、児童の内省が進んでいる実態を捉え、個別的なケアの展開における小舎制施設の優位性を示している。こうした成果は、理念的対立の狭間で科学的根拠が十分に蓄積されてこなかったこれまでの施設評価に新たな視点を持ち込んだものと考えられる。 一方、昨年度得られたGHの空間整備の状況を示すデータベースを整理するとともに海外先進事例として、日本の制度に影響を与えたオーストラリアビクトリア州におけるGHの実態を調査した。現地では政府作成のモデルプランに基づく施設整備が進められているが、安全面への過度な配慮から施設色の濃さが懸念される実態が把握された。これに対し、日本のGHは空間に対する公的支援が少ない中で、法人の自助努力により環境の整備が進められているという特性を示した。また、ビクトリア州では政府主導の用地取得や建物整備、維持管理により施設間の格差解消が目指されており、わが国でも制度や行政からのさらなる支援が必要だと考える。 以上、本研究は児童養護施設の義育環境を実証的に捉え、今後の施設計画と地域展開に寄与し得る指針を導きだした適時性に富んだ研究と言える。福祉学分野における発表も行われつつあり、今後、建築計画分野に留まらず、ひろくわが国の将釆を担う児童の養育環境へ貢献する可能性が認められると考える。

    We clarified following points on this study ; 1 The concept of externality : With considering meaning of the externality, we uncovered its five characters ; dignity, education, community, business and optional value. 2.Depopulated area/ a performing art center : According to the case study, activities of the art center stimulated the communication on any strata between villages, generations and family members. Main part of externality would be belonging to the field of communication on community and education. It was unclear that influence of externality around business, optional value and dignity. 3.City/ an information facility : According to the case study, we recognized externality on education, such as, many schools taking the facility as a teaching material and on business, such as, increasing the number of cafes around the facility. Interestingly, dignity might be changed its character form as a symbol to as a cool stuff. 4.Externality on cultural facilities : Most important role of externality is assumed stimulating communication on the field of community, education and business. Existence of art works is effective to create fresh contents for communication and people playing a role as a node of networking contribute to vital communication. 5.To get the externality from cultural facilities with PEI ; On PFI project, to secure the outcome of the externality, following point should be important. 1)articulate mission for the project 2)expanded client capability to include externality 3)quality based bidder selection 4)good cooperation with financial circles

    This research is based on the questionnaire survey about management of facilities constructed for the performing arts in Japan. It followed the series of researches which had been done in 1986, 1990 and 1995. Using the past data as well as the new data, we clarified both the present condition and the changes of those facilities. First we carried out literature surveys to revise the database of facilities for the performing arts in Japan. The new database came to contain 3,405 facilities. Second we did the questionnaire survey and got 1,021 answers. Then we analyzed those answers along with the past data. In analysis we dealt with several matters concerning facilities' management such as type of organization, the number of staffs, accounting, and so on.

    本研究は、公立の舞台芸術施設に対してアンケート調査を行い、最新の舞台芸術施設運営の実態を明らかにするとともに、過去2回の調査と今回の調査に基づく時系列変化を読み取ることを第一の目的とする。また、開示可能なミクロ統計資料として開銀企業財務データを使用し、民間の劇場における経営実態を把握するとともに、舞台芸術施設運営の調査に対する応用可能性を検討することを第二の目的とする。 本研究は実質3年度にわたる研究である。公立の舞台芸術施設における不整合な経理処理の実態を解明するという立場から、調査票の経理処理に関する項目の構成を大幅に改めた。調査項目としては、施設の概要、組織の概要、職員数と外部委託業務、ホールの使用時間、ホールの年間利用日数、上演種目別の利用日数と公演回数、自主事業の内容、施設運営の経理、標準的な自主事業の収支の例を設定した。平成8年度にアンケート調査を実施し、平成9年度は主に時系列標本の集計分析を、平成10年度は主に無作為標本の集計分析を行った。この結果、公立の舞台芸術施設における運営の実態を総合的に把握することができた。また、平成10年度には先進的かつ特徴的な施設を幾つかピックアップし、補足的な個別調査を実施した。 開銀企業財務データは、一企業あるいは関連企業全体としての決算概要を示したものであり、この中から劇場経営に関する部分を取り出すことはいささか困難であるが、劇場運営を経営の主な基盤とする会社に対して、決算状況を時系列で把握することができた。また、財務諸表のデータ項目を今後のアンケート調査に応用するために、幾つかの知見を得ることができた。

    清水・小野田等は「舞台芸術施設の経営に関する研究」(研究代表者山崎正和、1986-88年度)の一環として、昭和61年(1986年)を対象年度とした舞台芸術施設の運営・経営に関する全国的なアンケート調査を実施した。また「わが国文化・芸術情報の体系化と統計調査方法の研究」(研究代表者永山貞則、1990-91年度)の一部として、平成2年(1990年)を対象年度とした同様のアンケート調査を範囲をさらに広げて実施した。本研究は、平成7年(1995年)を対象年度として同様のアンケート調査を再度実施し、舞台芸術施設の運営・経営に関するより的確なデータを得るとともに、最終的には経年変化を分析することをねらいとするものである。平成8年度は、舞台芸術施設データベースの整備、試験調査の実施、調査票の設計、発送準備作業等を行い、平成9年1〜3月にかけてアンケート調査を実施した。平成9年度は、今回のアンケート調査の集計と過去2回の調査を加えた経年変化の分析等を行う予定である。 「わが国文化・芸術情報の体系化と統計調査方法の研究」(研究代表者永山貞則、1990-91年度)において作成した「舞台芸術施設データベース」が、現在最も広範で詳細な舞台芸術施設リストである。本研究の調査に備え、不明部分の補完とその後に新設された施設の追加を行い、最新の舞台芸術施設データベースを整備した。また、過去2回の調査と今回の試験調査の結果から得られた知見を基に、舞台芸術施設の不整合な経理処理の実態を解明するために、調査票を再構築した。本研究は、過去2回の調査を引き継ぐことに意義がある。特に、来年度行う予定の経年変化の分析は、継続的なデータの蓄積によって今回初めて可能になるものである。昨今、文化施設に対してその運営や施策が重要視され、アートマネージメントの必要性が叫ばれているが、本研究はその基礎的資料を提供するものである。

    本研究は、美術館の教育普及機能に着目したものであり、機能を読み解くためのキーワードとして「ワークショップ」という概念を採用している。概念の多様性や見るべき活動は数10例に絞られるといったプレ調査で得た知見を検討した結果。浅いアンケートを広範に行うのではなく、ケーススタディを積み重ねていく方法を採用することとした。成果は以下の通りであった。 1.広範囲に渡る文献調査、識者、現場の学芸員などに対するヒアリングを通して、「ワークショップはその原意である作業場、研究会という意味に留まらず、創造・創作するプロセスを共有していく体験の中から生活環境の中にそれぞれが独自の美を発見していく能力を体得するため設定される『場』」であると定義できることがわかった。 2. 1の定義に基づいて現在行われているを把握した。それらは、活動場所の固有性と活動目標から、a.体験活動(街・自然)、b.見学・観察、c.美術館探検、d.展示連携創作、e.作業体験(身体)、f.鑑賞法習得、g.オープンアトリエ、h.実技講習の8つに分類できることがわかった。 3. 2の多様な活動には、場所を美術館内に限定しないものも多いが、それらについては美術館は基地としての機能を、それ以外の行為についてはそうした多様性を担保し得るフレキシビリティが高いレベルで要求されていることを知った。 4.一般市民のアート嗜好についても対照調査を行った。パーソンズ美術理論を用いて分析した結果、嗜好は主体の性向によってかなり異なるが、メディア等で流布される「アート的」なものに引きづられる傾向が強い(ワークショップが目指しているものから遠い)ことを把握した。 5.参与調査から、各ワークショップでは、参加者はそれぞれが、かなり徹底して一度「個」に分断された上で、共同作業によりネットワーク化(集団形成)されていることが確認できた。

    The rapidly, our society has changed and the more roles, public institutions have been expected. It means that there is much necessity to evaluate and rearrange the function of those institutions in corrent complex situation. But, in Japan, there are a few trial to evaluate them scientifically. This study is aim to grasp rational method for evaluation of public institutions in Japan. We quoted a basic conception of POE which has been developed in U.S.A.for reasonable evaluation and selected four kind of institutions, a health promotion center, a welfare home for physically handicapped, an institution for the elderly with dementia and a culture hall, to do evaluating survey. At first, we settled out POE questionnaires on the users of Sendai City Health Center and pointed out architectural problems for rearrangement by the result of the questionnaires. Second, we had interviews, based on POE questionnaire, to the physically handicapped persons in Sendai Arinomama Welfare Home. By tabulating between the results of questionnaire and their situation of physically handicapped, it became apparent that the utility was most controversial area for heavy handicapped in this home. Third, to evaluate three institutions for elderly with demendia, we made observation of elders' activities in the institutions instead of POE questionnaire. It was clarified that type of connection between a dining hall and wards influenced the elders' daily lives. Fourth, we selected a culture hall as a subject of investigation and grasped complex situation to evaluate them, bacause of their own character, as a cultural device. For example, the level of acoustic criteria was increased, because of enterprising promotions by the management organizations of the hall ; as a result, good acoustic evaluation of the hall was decreased.

    本研究は、コンサートホールのソフト提供者としてのプロのオ-ケストラを支援するために施設が包含すべき機能を把握しようとしたものであり、成果は以下のとおりであった。 1.オ-ケストラ23楽団のうち、専用の練習施設を有しているものは7楽団(1995年9月現在)存在するが、そのうち協力の得られた4楽団の施設における調査によれば、最も大きな面積が割かれているのが合奏室で、その平均面積比は27.3%(実面積は1例を除き497〜355m^2)であった。 2.施設訪問調査を通じて、練習室は8部屋300m^2〜6部屋240m^2程度必要とされていることを知った。しかし同時に、これら練習施設の使用状況は、楽団員の自宅練習や自前での練習場借用など施設外の状況に大きく影響され、この部分の把握の重要性を確認した。 3.Sフィル楽団員のフェイスシートと練習活動空間を調査分析した結果、演奏パートによって練習室の保有率は、弦パート50.0%、木管パート71.4%、金管パート33.3%と大きく異なっている。しかも音が比較的大きく、防音が欠かせない金管での防音練習率保有率は14,3%とさらに低くなる状況にあることを把握した。 4.今回の定期演奏会1カ月前の練習活動状況の調査では、本格的な練習が行われるのは、公演前2週間前後で(楽団員の経験、定期演奏会の指揮者・曲目によっても異なる)、練習時間は弦パートでは6:00〜24:00とかなりの幅を持って行われているものの金管パートでは10:00〜21:00までと時間帯が限られていることがわかった。 5.調査したケースでは、全体練習以外に楽団員が個別に行う練習活動のピークは定期演奏会の4日前の16時から19時の間にあたっている。この時間帯の練習率に3.4.で把握した各パート毎の状況を勘案した係数を掛け合わせて、3管編成オ-ケストラのピーク時における必要練習室数を算出した。今回のケースでは、22室となった(算定式略)。

    本研究は、演劇における創作プロセスに着目し、その為の空間のネットワーキングについて、ある地方都市圏における演劇公演回数の分析と実際の劇団に対する参与調査から、各段階において必要となる空間の相互関連を把握しようとしたものであり、その結果は次のようであった。 (1)創作主体と空間の関係から、稽古場中心型(空間をあくまで演劇の稽古の場としてだけ使用)、製作拠点型(稽古の場としてだけでなく、劇団の製作拠点としての機能を保持)、稽古場公演型(演劇の創作から公演までの一貫した創作プロセスを完結)、稽古場非特定型(稽古場を所有せず、コミュニティーセンターなどを利用)に大別できることを知った。 (2)各劇団は、10数名によって稽古を展開し、40〜50m^2程度を場当たりの面積として使用していた。それぞれにおいて、劇団員1人当たりの稽古場の面積は3.0〜4.7m^2/人程度となっており、稽古のためにはこの程度の面積が必要であるといえる。 (3)以下に示すように各類型別に要求される建築計画上の与件を整理した。稽古場中心型では、稽古を行う場として所作のための空間性能(床、壁面の鏡、天井高、遮音)、時間的融通性(特に夜間)、劇団員が集合しやすい交通便利性、劇団員が連体感を醸成できる空間の質(ミーティング、談笑)が求められる。製作拠点型では、稽古場中心型に必要となる与件に加えて、製作業務(マスコミ連絡、DM発送等)、舞台美術の製作の場、所有設備(照明、各種器材、小道具、衣装)などの保管、団員間の語りあえる場、他地域の劇団が地方公演をする場合のバックアップ施設としての機能が必要となる。稽古場公演型では、製作拠点型の機能に加えて、公演場所としての機能観客を収容しうる広さと設備(換気、便所等)、観客のアクセシビリティ、演目の自由度(火、水等使用可、照明音響の為の整備と十分な電源)、打ち上げの場所としての機能が重要となる。

We have gotten the results the problem of care level is almost concentrated at 75 years old over class and housing problems of the patients are specially appeared at sanitary spaces. It is important to plan to improve spaces that the patients discharged from the hospital are able to move easily and be taken care fostly, especially both-service. And we have made clear to be classified into two types for the patients to improve housing, that two types are composed by "Readiness Type" and "Urgency Type", differed from improving detail points.

    This is the basic study for the consolidation of the service system regarding to the medical, health & welfare that would be corresponded to the needs of the senile dementia aged and their families. The investigation had been executed against the aged lived in the whole area of Sendai by the teams of the specialists of psychiatrists and public health nurses. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1. We could acquired that the ratio of the senile dementia aged is 5.02 percents and the senile dementia aged at home is 4.48 percents against to whole aged. 2. We estimated the ratio of the senile dementia aged on the each types that had been classified into six types in the former report by the combination of life states on the senile dementia aged such as their household states & behavior abilities. It was seized that the required care service aged who became to the conditions of senile dementia appeared very high ratio. 3. The states of life and the bodily conditions of the aged were confronted to the degrees of senile dementia. Therefore, It have been elucidated that cares & helps for the aged are became to serious with the progress of senile dementia. and then, burdens of families would be increased more than before. 4. It was very difficult that the demands of the senile dementia aged and their families would be socialized. The other hand, demands that could be socialized were difference by their degrees of senile dementia. 5. The conclusion by the public health nurses is that welfare services is to be required to the form of the care service at home than their families helps. Therefore, completion of qualities and quantities on the care service at home is the urgent matter to be settled first.

We have gained the conclusion,follows. 1) The handicapped children are fitted for the same floor and one-room type to move,live and be helped. 2) The handicapped those are able to move for themselves, are fitted for the carpet flooring by remodeling "TATAMI" partially or on the whole gamut. 3) The handicapped those are needed to help on the whole gamut, are fitted for the board flooring by remodeling "TATAMI" on the whole. 4) The one-room type is fitted for all handicapped,but the hopeful model for the handicapped needed to help on moving or high age, is considered to take one room and other in the neighbouring relation, adding to take type of flooring corresponsed to each room.

    The purpose of this paper is to identify the structure of living problems at home and demand upon social services for aged people. We analyze datein order to classify the aged by their individual conditions (age,sex,health,etc.) and living conditions (family,finance,etc.), since their situation is quite complicated. The data depend upon the survey against in 1987 in Sendai City,with a stratified one to twentyth sampling method. 1.The rate of bed-confined aged is 2.1 percents and semi-bed-confined aged is 4.0 percents. A lot of them are upper 75 years old females. 2.Among the healthy aged,male tends to spend a lot of time to their hobby and females to spend to communicate with their friend. 3.A lot of the aged live with their family.The rate of them is 62.5 percents. On the other hand, the rate of the live-alone aged,who own their house is lower than the avarage. 4.Great part of them take much attention to their health and feel uneasy when they get sicks. Judging from their abnormal behavior,the rate of the aged with senile dementia is 4.8 percents. 5.The families who live with bed-confined aged has a lot of problem,such as financial,housing and the other. Especially,a lot of difficulties concentrate to the person who mainly care the aged. 6.There are two groupes,one demand for only home service and the other for insitution and home service. Especially,They need-home-nurseing care on the medical side and short-stay-service on the welfare side. 7.For ploblem groupes(bed-confined aged,live-alone aged and aged couple),it is difficult to secure their livehood with a little social support. In paticular,the aged couple is unstable.

    震災から３年。仮設住宅を出られた人はまだ１割ほどに過ぎず、被災した人たちの住まいの再建は思うように進んでいない。土地をかさ上げするためには地権者の同意が必要だが、何代も前に移転し連絡も取れない人も少なくない。資材と職人の不足によって家の建設費が高騰するという問題も起きている。そして、自治体と地主との土地の契約期間が切れて仮設住宅が閉鎖に追い込まれ、仮設から仮設への転居を迫られる住民も出始めた。安住の住まいを確保するには何が必要なのか。サンドウィッチマンとともに考えていく。
