一定の共時態における談話標識と接続詞のバリエーションから動態変化を探った。言語の中には、言語変化しやすいものとしにくいものがある。接続詞のうち、原因理由、逆接、仮定条件は変化しやすいが、添加、列記は変化しにくい。これは、相手との相互作用のためにより効果的な表現を求めるため変化しやすいからである。各地の方言談話で接続詞に共通語形が現れ、接続助詞で方言形が用いられるのは接続詞が単独で談話標識として用いられるため、入れ替えやすいからだと考えられる。甲田（2018）で検討した方言談話における接続詞のバリエーションの多少が、これまで多く指摘されている言語変化の動向と対応するということについて全体像を探った。接続表現の変化を考えるとき、使用年代の異なるデータを比較する方法があるが、同一の話者、ジャンル、話題、使用場面等を均質にして比較することは困難である。近年、電子化コーパスの拡充により、接続表現と文体特徴との相関について分析が進められている。そこで明らかになったことは、文体特徴は単に話し言葉-対-書き言葉のような単純なものではなく、柏野(2013)にあるように「専門度」「客観度」「硬度」「くだけ度」「語りかけ性度」等の要素が絡まったものであるということである。これらの研究から、たとえ書き言葉という共通した媒体であっても使用年代の推移ごとに比較しただけでは言語変化の実態を捉えることはできないものと思われる。ある一定の共時態データにおける談話標識、接続詞、接続助詞を観察することで、そこに見られる接続表現のバリエーションから変化の様態を探る可能性について論じた。これまで扱ったデータを含めて検討し、全体的見通しを得た。

Yamada Yoshio is an immensely figure in the establishment period of the modern Japanese Linguistics. But before Yamada there were many researchers who affected his studies, and after Yamada there were many researchers who inherited his studies. Among them we took up three persons, i.e., Ando Masatsugu, Kikuzawa Sueo, Okazawa Shoji and studied their relation to Yamada. They were active in Yamada's "peripheral" in terms of physical geography or were active in "peripheral" in terms of Japanese Linguistic circle of those days. Specifically, we went to Taiwan to investigate Ando Masatsugu's achievement because in prewar Taiwan he studied ancient Japanese grammar in relation to Yamada Grammar. Further we investigated the relation between Yamada Grammar and the lexicological important concept "Isou"(phase) Kikuzawa proposed, or between Yamada Grammar and Okazawa's linguistic approaches to the Japanese grammar.

This study examined the effect and function of the materials for reading Japanese as a foreign language. In terms of the function of reading assistance, strategy training, facilitation of meta-cognition, learning organizer, chart, and schematic organizer as an aid in learning from texts were examined. These materials are assumed to help for organizing each reader's knowledge structure. Concerning paragraph structure in Japanese text, topic shift and digression from the main subject is the key notion to facilitate text comprehension.

The goal of the following research is to clarify the establishment of Japanese linguistics as a discipline in the early twentieth century. Two renowned pioneers in the field of Japanese linguistics, Yoshio Yamada, a"big shot" in the field, who's groundbreaking work heavily influenced Japanese linguistic methodology, and Yoshiharu Kobayashi, an"average" scholar, who helped to slowly expand the scope of the discipline, are analyzed, and the contribution of the two scholars on the establishment of the modern discipline as well as their influence on the work of other scholars of the same period is clarified. A particular emphasis is placed on the formation of Japanese grammatical theory and dialect research methodology, as well as the chronological development of research in Japanese historical linguistics.

文彩を施された言語と,普段我々が"文法性"などということを意識しない透明な言語との対立点の整理,および事態の再現性に関わる文法的表現効果の可能性の追求を行った。現実世界から表現世界への移行の過程,つまり芸術や物語テクスト表現のもつフレーム,枠の特殊な組織の問題について整理した。テクストにおける再現性を考察する際に判別役となるのは,我々の日常の認識や体験性の制約からくる文法制約が創造的言語使用においては必ずしも守られないという点である。しかし,このような差異は,一談話領域に固定のものではなく,歴史記述や叙事的物語作品においても,語る視点が完全に排除されることはなく,感情や評価,文間の配列構成(因果関係や,注釈による),様態化作用を伴う発話主体標識によって,テクスト構成者による介入現象が起こる。視点の問題と再現芸術について,表現と表現されるものを有している芸術の諸形式と視点の問題は直接関連している。たとえば,「枠」の問題に固有の構成的側面,つまり芸術テクストにおける枠を表現する形式的方法は談話分析において「視点」の術語によって記されてきた。視点と関連して,出来事の記述を行う人物の空間・時間的位置(すなわち空間と時間の座標軸における語り手の位置の確定)の問題,構成の手法の整理を空間・時間のパースペクティブの面を中心に検討した。
