本年度は、全体会議を12回実施し、連携を図りながら、以下の研究に取り組んだ。第一に、日本語教師を対象にライティング指導の難しさに関する質問紙調査を行った。167名分の回答を分析し、ライティング指導経験年数による難しさの違いを明らかにした（2021年度日本語教育学会秋季大会にて発表、全員）。第二に、上述した質問紙調査の回答者のうち35名を対象にフォローアップ・インタビューを行った。この結果については、現在、分析中である。第三に、大学の日本語教員養成課程の大学生を対象にライティング指導の難しさに関する質問紙調査を行った。65名分の回答を分析し、大学生が感じる難しさの特徴を明らかにした（投稿中、鎌田・坪根・副田・脇田）。第四に、日本語教員養成課程の大学生3名を対象に行ったインタビュー調査の結果を考察し、大学生が添削と評価に難しさを感じていることを把握した（第30回小出記念日本語教育研究会にて発表、『大阪観光大学研究論集』第22号に論文掲載、坪根・鎌田）。第五に、ライティングにおける思考ツール活用について日本語教師10名を対象にインタビュー調査を行い、現状を把握するとともに教育支援の可能性を探った（第28回大学教育研究フォーラムにて発表、脇田）。第六に、書きことばの習得と学習の観点から教授上の留意点、日本語教科書の問題について考察し、教師養成の課題を指摘した（『文化交流研究』第35号に論文掲載、鎌田）。第七に、日本語教員養成課程の大学生6名を対象に行ったアカデミック・ライティングに関するインタビュー調査の分析をさらに進めて、大学生の学習上の困難点を明らかにした（第28回大学教育研究フォーラムにて発表、副田）。以上の調査研究で得られた知見をもとに、最終年度に実施する養成セミナー及び研修セミナーの具体的な内容の検討を開始した。この検討に関しては、次年度も継続していく予定である。

This study investigated the citation practice by learners of Japanese and native speakers of Japanese through textual analysis of various reading-writing assignments, such as argumentative essay and book reports. We also conducted questionnaires and interviews with both international and Japanese students to examine their knowledge of the source use. Based on the students’ difficulties found in the study, we implemented reading/writing instruction and developed teaching materials for note-taking and source use.

The purpose of this study is to examine how Japanese native speakers (JNS) and nonnative speakers (JNNS) process verbal inflection. We conducted two types of on-line tasks: masked priming tasks and judgment tasks using the made-up verbs and real verbs. The results indicated that JNS and JNNS might treat verbal conjugation differently. JNNS rely on explicit grammatical knowledge, whereas JNS rely more on implicit, exemplar-based knowledge. The results also suggested that the conjugation process of JNNS was affected by pronunciation difficulties, such as a double consonant.

The purpose of this study is to examine whether the Japanese verbal inflection system emerges from item-based learning or rule learning. Using grammatical judgment tests targeted for tense-aspect morphologies and made-up verb tests and real verb tests we investigated the acquisition of Japanese verb conjugation. The results suggest that L2 development in verb inflection differs from that of JNS and that this affects both rote learning and explicit rule learning.
