<jats:sec><jats:title>Introduction</jats:title><jats:p>Although Information and Communication Technology (ICT) care robots are being used to address the shortage of human resources in nursing care in Japan, there are few studies on the application and disadvantages of robotics in caring for older persons.</jats:p></jats:sec><jats:sec><jats:title>Methods</jats:title><jats:p>The authors surveyed seven students taking a nursing care course based on a self-administered questionnaire after they experienced various ICT nursing care robots in the education program. The responses were coded and analyzed qualitatively to consider the advantages and disadvantages of using robots in nursing care and the roles of nursing care workers.</jats:p></jats:sec><jats:sec><jats:title>Results</jats:title><jats:p>While nursing care robots have been evaluated for their contributions to caring for older persons, they also have disadvantages, such as high cost, discomfort, and risk of injury.</jats:p></jats:sec><jats:sec><jats:title>Conclusion</jats:title><jats:p>Education programs for welfare students should include active experience with robots and a deep understanding of their advantages and disadvantages in caring for older people. Further collaboration between development companies, training schools, and care sites is essential to help educators and students get used to nursing care robots soon, refer to their experience in testing these robots, and simultaneously study potential disadvantages and discomforts of nursing care robots.</jats:p></jats:sec>

<jats:p>Abstract Social entrepreneurship is still in its infancy and there are few studies discussing its process of solving poverty issues. The article argues that discovering and exploiting social entrepreneurial opportunities for the formation of new goods or services in the social entrepreneurial process cannot guarantee that the problem is solved completely. The article suggests that understanding the nature of the problem and putting the focus on behavioral patterns of the individuals facing the problem are important steps as well as issues to be taken into consideration in any problem-solving approach. These are white spaces in current social entrepreneurship research as well as challenges for the development of the field into a really problem-solving approach. 東日本大震災や新型コロナウイルスにより当初の目的を実現することができなくなり、失望感や挫折など消極的感情に陥った企業家はどのように資源を活用したのかについて、2021年度資源の活用方法と消極的感情の関係性を考察してきた。このケースに当てはまる企業家は、失敗が特定の資源不足に起因し、尚かつその資源制約が活動全体の制約として認識してしまう思考様式のパターンがある。その結果、この資源の分析方法は企業家の自己効力感を低下させることに繋がってしまう。心理的側面との関係に関して、人間が自動的に高速で思考するパターン（速い思考）と複雑な計算を用いる思考パターン（遅い思考）を述べたKahneman (2011)の理論に基づくと、企業家は当初の目的を実現できなかった直後「速い思考パターン」で消極的感情に陥ると考えられる。しかし、研究事例の中で数カ月以上の時間が経過しても何らかの出来事でそのことについて思い出すと消極的感情が再び発生することもある。そのため、消極的感情の発生に関しては時間との関係だけではなく、何らかの思考パターンとの関係があると本研究は指摘している。より詳細な考察の結果として、その思考パターンは、１）資源当初の目標の達成（理想）に対するこだわりや過度の執念２）当初の目標が達成できなかった結果（現実）に対する過度の注目、３）及びこれらの思考の反応として言われる理想と現実とのギャップに対する失望感や罪悪感の維持である。本来は資源の発掘、活用を通じて資源制約を克服し制約から脱却しようとする努力をしていくことが企業家にとって大事なことであるが、消極的感情の発生、拡大により企業家は自己効力感も低下するとともに資源の発掘、活用による制約の克服に関する思考も停止してしまいがちである。

Social entrepreneurs deal with resource constraints by disaggregating further the conventionally assumed unit of analysis of a resource and re-evaluating each of its elements in various contexts. This enables social entrepreneurs to re-recognize a resource’s potential and unconstrained elements that are not directly the sources of constraints. It will open up ways of creating and strengthening these elements. Furthermore, the inter-resource relationships in which constituent elements as sources of constraints in certain resources are substituted and supplemented by constituent elements of other resources help social entrepreneurs overcome resource constraints.

The research suggested the concept of “social satisfaction”, which means the judgment asserted consciously by the community regarding whether or not something meets a want that is also asserted consciously by the entire community. This judgment is often based on whether it reaches social goals or not. The conceptual framework of dark/light boundary line was constructed as follows. Businesses aiming to achieve both individual satisfaction and social satisfaction are LIGHT, while those that only bring about individual satisfaction without social one and those activities contrary to the achievement of both of those satisfaction are classified as DARK. Moreover, businesses those going to the pursuit of profit in the direction that can probably solve social issues (social satisfaction) is defined as conditioned LIGHT. As a result, the boudary line was redefined as the boundary zone or gray zone.
