    本発表の目的は、なぜ中国東北部のコリアン・チャイニーズ（朝鮮族）は国境を越えてロシアへ移動し、小規模出稼ぎ「ポッタリチャンサ」を行うようになったのかを明らかにすることである。中国の「改革開放」政策以降、中国東北部の人びと、特に朝鮮族女性は、北朝鮮へ、さらにはロシアへと移動することで、移動性の担い手としての役割を果たしてきた。1990年代初期のロシアへの移動は、親戚訪問の招待状を用いて短期ビザを申請して国境を越えたことが明らかになった。そのフェイクの招待状はブローカーを通して入手できた。彼らは地縁・血縁に基づく社会的ネットワークを活用していた。また、事例からは、文化的アイデンティティの共有や朝鮮語を媒介とする、コリョサラムとのつながりが示される。

    1960年代の北朝鮮ブームの時代、中朝国境地帯では、複数回の「短期訪問」による往来が行われたが、それが必ずしも北朝鮮への移住に繋がるとは限らなかった。寧ろ頻繁に往来を繰り返し、モノの贈与・物々交換によって生活の安定を求めていた。その中で「ポッタリチャンサ」の行商人が出現し始める。1970年代末頃、特に1978年中国の「改革開放」以降、中朝国境地帯では「ポッタリチャンサ」が盛んになってきた。当時はまだ、北朝鮮の貨幣が中国で流通しておらず、彼らの商売手法は主に「物々交換」であった。中朝国境での商品の変遷から、移動するモノの中には文化・伝統的要素の影響によるものもあったことが明らかになった。
